I owned this car for 25 years, and planned to keep it for the rest of my life. Sadly, I hit a light pole with it. Initially, I thought just the front got crumpled, and was going to have a new front welded in. When I looked more closely, I realized that the frame on the passenger side was pushed into the firewall about an inch. Selling whole as a parts car. The OM617 turbo diesel engine starts instantly, runs strong, and has normal oil pressure. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Mileage is 243k. Car was never driven in the winter during the 25 years that I owned it. It was very well maintained. Oil changed every 2500 miles.
